Biome is a space based sci-fi adventure game, featuring a variety of alien species. The player needs to ensure the survival of his charges to quickly grow his crew, research his environment, learn new skills and find his way home… or start afresh
Yesterday marked 2 months since the initial planning on the game begun. After several sleepless nights of debugging stupid mistakes, version 0.003 is ready (my humble apologies for it being late).
1 new story event
5 new 'fun' events - was planning for 6, but underestimated the render times.
Continued re-renders of characters.
Loads of tweaks and fixes.
Aside from revival and intro events, there is a story and fun event for each character, triggered by their special skill level, days awake and the MC's morphing ability.
Revived characters second shifts are already assigned to the activities they need to work at for progression. Useful research is Biology and Filters. Only food, water and cooking provide usable resources currently, but will not progress all character events.
The next update is planned for 5th October and will focus on gameplay, including harvesting minerals (used in later builds for projects) and exosuit activities. If time permits, a brief hostile encounter with another species will be included.

I've tweaked some of the grinding elements, reduced the stat point requirements to make them more "achieveable" in a single playthrough without too much additional stress, and fixed one or two whoopsies in how these were calculated.
I've play-tested as much as I've had time for and ironed out a few bugs I found.
No doubt created more bugs - this update was fiddly and my original code is fairly hard to update. I've learned heaps since then!
I've fixed an issue involving being able to scroll (rollback and forward text) while screens are open.

- Separate Energy and Orgasm bars for you and your partner, the rate of which they change depend on whether the position matches the new stats above + fitness & animation speed. Each time you bring your partner to orgasm, they gain attraction with you. Each time you yourself reach orgasm, you gain mood.
- Sex is no longer forced to end when the first orgasm is reached (but when you/ your partner runs out of energy or gets bored i.e. their orgasm bar has stayed too low for a long time), so it's possible for multiple or no orgasms for either partners to happen during a scene. Subsequent orgasms are progressively harder to reach.
- The orgasm bar also represents the wetness of the pussy and hardness of the dick, which affects how pleasurable penetrative sex is, and at which speed. So, if you're playing as a man or trans, it will be more about keeping your orgasm bar around the middle for as long as possible to try and bring your partner to orgasm rather than trying to reach orgasm yourself quickly and then have a difficult time trying to get hard again (by which time, your partner may have already got bored).

YIt's been a while now, I was seemingly trapped in a mundane life without ever realizing it, so when the trouble at work started it took me not only by surprise, but also out of my comfort zone. It's funny how we get so used to the everyday and drift along on our own, especially when you consider that friendship and companionship are a fundamental part of who we are, Humans.
